We woke early from our condo and packed everything to head to Disney's Pop Century!
This would be our home during our stay at Disney. Cynthia got right to playing in the kid area and mommy went and checked us in! Our rooms were not ready and so we heading off to the Magic Kingdom.
We then hopped a bus and hit the road for Magic Kingdom! We were very excited to introduce Cynthia to the Magic Kingdom and meet Mickey Mouse!
Our first stop of the day was to upgrade our tickets to annual passes and then head to get a picture with Cinderella's Castle! We upgraded our tickets because we are planning to return for Cynthia's birthday.
After the picture stop in front of the castle we walked around a bit until it was time to meet Tinker Bell and Mickey Mouse!
We headed first to Tinker Bell and she was not a fan at first but Tinker Bell was great and started playing peek-a-boo with Cynthia and won her over.
Waiting to go thru the doors and see the mouse! Cynthia was very excited when she got her first glimpse of Mickey. But as soon as Mickey came her way and started chatting with her she changed her mind. She decided she didn't need to meet him and wanted to just stay in my arms.
After all the character interaction we headed off to ride a couple rides. We went on Peter Pan, Small World and The Little Mermaid.
We got to see our names at the end of Small World!
After the rides it was pushing nap time and our rooms were finally ready at the hotel and so we headed for the buses and made the trek back to the resort to settle in and nap. We got very lucky and all got refurbished rooms. They were very nice and had tons of storage and queen beds!
After her little nap and rest Cynthia was off to the grandparents room to spend the evening and mom and dad headed to dinner with Uncle Mike and Aunt Kim. We were headed for the Hoop-Dee-Doo-Revue. It was a improv type comedy show and dinner. It was fun spending a little bit of adult time.
It was a fun time and the strawberry shortcake was yummy! The best part of the meal though was the show. It was fun to do something different and see a different side of Disney. We can't wait to take Cynthia back when she is big enough to really enjoy it. I am already dreaming about the cornbread and strawberry shortcake :-)
