Where has the time gone...

I have been so busy the past couple weeks and I don't see anything slowing down anytime soon.  We traveled over Labor Day weekend to my sister's new house in Indianapolis.  I have a couple pictures to share.  It was a very long drive but I had a great time visiting with my sister and can't wait to hang out with her again real soon!!

Weekly Weigh In

Yesterday was my meeting and I am now down 20 pounds.  I can't believe that I have lost that much weight!  I hope to lose another 10 pounds and then I will reach my goal of lifetime member.  In our meeting yesterday we talked about how we want to go into the holiday time with a different attitude then we can just start over in January.  We talked about a goal that we could work on to help keep us on track and my goal is to start working out at least three times a week.  I feel like I am at the point where I really have to add some activity into my everyday life if I want to continue to be successful with this program.  I will start adding in how I am doing with my workouts into this post every week.  I am hoping that will help me get my workouts done!

Weekend Re-Cap

Me and my friend Elan had a great time at the scrapbook convention.  We got tons of great new items and found some cool new ideas.  I was so inspired that I came home and started working on my scrapbook room and scrapbooks.  I have a little more work to do on my room and then will share some pictures.  Here is a picture of me and Elan as we are leaving the convention. 

While I was away at the convention the husband was at home cleaning out the middle basement with his mother.  They did an awesome job and now that the inherited John Deere is working it has a pretty place to park.  I of course had to snap a picture of the husband as he was putting away the John Deere.  He is very happy to have it up and running to make mowing the lawn a quicker process.  


On Sunday we went to On the Border with family for my birthday dinner.  It was so yummy!  I also got a couple cute gifts.  A very pretty wallet from Kate Spade and a picture frame.  


I hope everyone had a great weekend and is all ready for the week ahead.

Hello Friday!

I am so happy Friday is here!

I will be getting up early tomorrow morning to head to the Scrapbook Convention!!!  Then I am hoping to come home all inspired to create some new pages in my scrapbooks

We also have dinner plans with the family to celebrate my birthday at On The Border.  I love that place!  


In other big news our family pictures we had taken at the beach came in and I am in love!! I tried to share just one but you can see how that turned out.

Weekly Weigh In

I have been going to weight watchers for 17 weeks now.  This is the first time I have stuck with the program for this long!  I plan to make it to lifetime this go around!!  I started my journey at 159.2 pounds and have currently lost 17 pounds.  I am hoping to start blogging about my weekly weigh ins on Thursdays.  I go to my meetings on Wednesday and then will report to the blog on Thursdays.  I will try and post some recipes and things that I have done from week to week in this journey to my goal weight and a healthier me!

Birthday Weekend Recap

My 32nd birthday weekend was spent in Boone, North Carolina.  We went tubing down the Watagua River and spent the evening at our friends camper off the Blue Ridge Parkway.  We had a great time!!  I only have some pictures of the sunrise on Sunday morning.  






I also got some pretty cool presents.  I got a new personalized camera strap for my new Nikon DSLR Camera!  Which was a early birthday present from the husband!!  

I also got a new Kate Spade purse!  It is beautiful and I can't wait to carry it this fall. 
Hope everyone else had a great weekend and I hope to start a home tour this week and show all the things we have been doing to make our house a home.

Our Home

Our home used to be my husband's grandparents home.  We feel very blessed to be able to call this place home.  We have been working very hard to bring life back into the house and make it our own little home.  It is in a very cute little town where we are within walking distance of the downtown area.  I will slowly show around our place and the changes we have made to make it our home.

Living the Married Life

We have been married now for 10 months.  It is crazy that it has been that long already.  It has been an amazing journey so far and I am positive it will only get more amazing.  We have kept very busy with setting up our house and starting this new chapter in our lives.  I plan to get back to blogging and start documenting our journey through married life.
